Orlando Insurance School Licenses
All continuing education courses are offered by the American Association of Insurance and Financial Professionals, Inc. (Provider 363212) DBA Hilda Tucker Insurance School and approved by the Florida Department of Financial Services for Intermediate or Advanced Level. Note: We no longer offer CE classes for Public Adjusters.
Courses are changed periodically to help prevent students from duplicating a course within a three year period. Classes are rarely canceled and we have no minimum class size requirement.
Course schedules can be searched on our website by course category, location and license type.
Continuing Education requirements – Each licensee, except a Title agent, must complete a 5-hour Law and Ethics update course every 2 years which is specific to the license held by the licensee. An agent who holds multiple insurance license types must complete an update course that is specific to at least one of the licenses held. Continuing education hours, other than the 5-hour law requirement, are considered “elective credits” and may consist of any continuing education course, including the other 5-hour Law and Ethics Update courses, as long as the course is approved by the Florida Department of Financial Services for Florida continuing education credit. (Example-A 2-20 licensee can take a CE course that is approved with the authority of 2-15 and receive credit for elective hours or a 2-15 licensee can take an additional 5-hour update course approved with the authority of 2-20 and receive credit for elective hours.) The only license specific course required will be the 5-hour Law and Ethics update course, which must be specific to the license type held.
NOTE: Please check your Compliance Evaluation in “My Profile” for your specific continuing education required hours.
